REVEREND BOBBY EARL MARTIN, SR. entered eternal rest on Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Piedmont-Newton Hospital in Covington, GA. He was born on Monday, May 15, 1950, to both the late Josephine Martin and Moses Huff.
Reverend Martin moved to Atlanta, GA in 1995 where he met his late wife, Jacinta Lavita Jones Martin. His calling was ministry. In 2002 he started a ministry called "Broken Vessel Full Gospel." It was his passion to spread the word of Jesus Christ while helping others with their walk of sobriety. After retiring from the ministry, Rev. Martin did not stop his walk within the ministry. He later became a member of Eastridge Church-East Campus in Covington, GA.
Our dearly beloved Reverend Bobby Earl Martin, Sr. was affectionately known and loved by many. He enjoyed spending time with his children, siblings, and other family members. He was a great father, an even greater grandfather, a loving brother, and friend. Those who knew him loved him much. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Coraliss Martin; two sons, Ramon Martin, and Quinten Martin; a sister, Faye Abrams and two brothers, Norman Martin and Ricky Martin.
Those left to cherish his memory: four daughters, Tiffany (Alfredo) McNair of Thomson, GA, Joy Martin, Josephine Martin, and Jewell Martin, all of Atlanta, GA; three sons, Carlos Fanning of South Carolina, Derick (Alicia) Martin, and Bobby Martin, Jr., all of Warrenton, GA; two step-children, Johnathan (Rachel) Harris and Jeleysa Harris, both of Atlanta, GA; sixteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty (Henry "Butch") Blount and Lisa Martin, both of Thomson, GA; two brothers, Steve Huff and Carlton Martin, both of Thomson, GA; a host of cousins, in-laws, other family members and many sorrowing friends.
