Bobby E. Martin, 88, of Reidsville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 30, 2026 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Pastors Robert Pruitt and Ken Hamlett officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Bobby was born in Patrick County, Virginia to the late Bernard and Sadie Martin. He dedicated his life to a long and hardworking career as a building contractor. Never one to sit still, Bobby always kept busy—whether playing the bass guitar in a band, enjoying a round of golf, planting and tending his garden each year, or cheering on his favorite teams while watching sports, especially football. A man of strong faith, he was a faithful and devoted member of Bible Way Community Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jackie, Floyd, William, and Bill; and sister, Jane.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Frances Martin; and son, Stephen Martin.
