Garry Lee Jarrell, Sr., 72, of Reidsville, North Carolina, entered into rest with the Lord on March 13, 2026, at his home.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Greenview Cemetery, located at 1004 Montgomery Street, Reidsville, NC.
He was born in Reidsville, NC on August 25, 1953, the son of the late George Dillard Jarrell, Sr. and Audrey Ann Moore. Garry loved his children and grandchildren deeply and often showed that love through his generosity and giving spirit. He was known for his strong will and determination. Those who knew him best understood that behind his stubborn spirit was a heart devoted to his family. His love and strength will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched.
Garry is survived by his children, Garry Jarrell, Jr., Joseph W. Jarrell and his spouse Amanda Jarrell, Alexander Jarrell, and Shannon Edmonds; his grandchildren, Nicole Danzy, Brianna Jarrell, Jayla Jarrell, Joseph J. Jarrell, and Jordan Jarrell; his brothers, George “Junior” Jarrell and his spouse Winnie Jarrell, Charles “Ricky” Jarrell, and Timmy Moore; and his sister, Deloris Wallace.
