McHugh – Bobby "Wayne" McHugh age 65 of Covington, formerly of Lawrenceville, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 12, 2022, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. The burial will follow at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends before the service from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Wayne retired from Siemens and was a member of Lawrenceville Masonic Lodge #131. Wayne enjoyed playing softball and shooting pool in his youth. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jan Farrar McHugh; parents, Emory Lonzo & Ruby Hallie Holt McHugh; sister, Linda Cochran; brother, Emory McHugh, III; and niece, Teri Cochran. He is survived by his brother & sister-in-law, Larry & Judy McHugh, of Lawrenceville; sister & brother-in-law, Ruth & Jerry Flanigan, of Winder; nieces & nephews, Dedra Bedingfield of Monroe; Jody & Ray Swords of Monroe; Angie McHugh of Lawrenceville; Debbie & Mike Landress of Winder; Sonja & Randy Dowis of Rockmart; Sheri & Eric Hogan of Temple; Rebekah & Joseph McNair of Dallas; several great nieces & nephews; caregiver, Joyce Head; and his beloved dog, Tippi.
