Bobby Gene Messer, a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather, peacefully departed this world on September 1, 2025 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 62.
Born on March 9, 1963 in Yucca Valley, California. A mechanic at heart and loved spending time at the farm. He worked for years at Jones Truck and Spring Repair.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Messer.
He is survived by his mother, Ressie Thompson; sister, Rita Cox; brother, James Thompson; sons, Chris (Lindsay) Messer, Dustin (Marilyn) Messer, Devon (Nicole Gillispie) Messer; grandchildren, Chris Jr., Riley, Jensen, Ceireanna, Wyatt, Kensley, Brianna, Kamryn, and AJ.
As we mourn the loss of an extraordinary man, we remember the love and joy he brought into our lives, Bob will be deeply missed; his spirit will remain with us in our hearts forever and always.
