James Richard King, 68, passed away September 23, 2025. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Maxine King; brothers, Raymond "Ozzie," Robert Jr. "Bobby," Arthur "Henry," and Brian Lee King; daughter, Christine Jinks. Jay is survived by wife of 38 years, Mary King; children, Dale (Jennifer), Teresa (Brian), Jeffrey (Danielle), and favorite, Samantha (Shawn); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Paulene and Lorraine (Boo).
Jay retired from Roofers Local 86 after 30 years of service. Member of Central Baptist Church. He loved his church family, especially, his beloved friend, Mike Hinkle.
Per his wishes, there will be no public services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jay's memory to Central Baptist Church, 1955 Frank Rd., Columbus, OH 43223.
