Bobby Darren Patterson Sr.

Bobby D. Patterson Sr. 63, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at his home. When our Father calls for you to come home, Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Maddy was there to meet you. We lost a part of our heart. Bobby was born February 28, 1960 in St. Joseph, son of Dolores (Hendrix) and Raymond Patterson. Childhood memories flash through your mind, the good, the bad, and a "SMH"! Bobby enjoyed fishing, and if you needed anything or help, he tried his best to do what he could, along with a "fish" story or two. Bobby had a good heart, loved his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He never knew a stranger and was a friend to many. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include: sons, Bobby Patterson, Jr. and Cody Patterson of St. Joseph, sisters, Terry (Gary) Fuller and Kelly McCray of St Joseph, brothers, Roy Patterson of St. Joseph, Dennis McCray of St. Joseph, and Mark (Katie) McCray of Kansas City, MO, grandchildren, Cody Jr. and Chevie Patterson, nephews, Aaron (Jennie) Patterson, J (Kelly) Jones, Justin (Amber) McCray, Mark McCray Jr., and Sean McCray, niece, Kendra Bishop, numerous great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, and aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Mr. Patterson has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life, where family will receive friends, will be Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Rupp Funeral Home.
