Bobby Lynn Pruitt, 65, of Reidsville Passed away peacefully on November 4th, 2023.
A funeral service will be held at Maple Lawn Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Wesley Byerly officiating. The burial will follow the service at Maple Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and other times at the family home.
Bobby was born in Rockingham County to the late Lewis “Jack” Alton Pruitt and Jewel Marie Walker. He Retired from Avery Dennison after many years of service. Bobby enjoyed Camping, surf fishing on the Outer Banks, shooting pool, golf and traveling. He especially enjoyed his trip to Israel and Jerusalem with his father. He loved Dale Earnhardt and annual family beach trips. He always had a joke to tell no matter the situation. His last Joke on Friday was “In two weeks I’ll be with Jesus, and you’ll be stuck here with David.”. Bobby had many musical talents and sang at his church. He also played the fiddle, banjo, and the guitar. More than anything Bobby loved his family he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patti Pruitt; Children, Shannon L. Pruitt, Andrea P. Moore (David), and Geoffrey Rogers (Candice); grandchildren, Hayden, Phoenix, Aubrey, Kayla, Jax, and Cam; brother, Danny Pruitt (Janet) along with numerous nieces, nephews, and large extended family.
