He was preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Mary Rice; his wife: Jeanette Middleton Rice; one son: Michael Rice; one daughter: Lori Johnson and one brother: Ralph Rice.
He is survived by two daughters: Pat Rice and Suzanne Norris; 10 grandchildren: Jeremy, Michael, Carolyn, Kelli, Bobby, Samantha, Josh, Lorina, Mesina, and Reja; 27 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home.
