Bobby Don Richards

Bobby Don Richards, 67, of Gilmer, Texas, was born on July 20, 1958, in Clovis, New Mexico, to Horace Donald Richards and Mary Etta Richards (Blackburn), and passed from this life on August 13, 2025, at his home outside of Gilmer. Bobby was retired but worked most of his life as a certified scale maintenance operator in the agricultural industry. Bobby loved music and sharing his talent on stage in his younger days. He enjoyed riding his Harley for leisure and taking care of his wife, animals, and home was what he enjoyed the most out of this life. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kay Richards; siblings, Melissa Sharp, Rhonda McNair, Michael Richards, and James Richards, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Pam Richards, brothers Scott Richards, Tim Richards, and Joe Richards. Private arrangements are under the direction of McWhorter Funeral Home.
