Bobby Marel Rolland Sr.

Mr. Bobby Marel Rolland, Sr., passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 87. Bobby was born in Wynne, Arkansas, on April 19, 1938, to Robert Washington Rolland and Mary Frances Fincher. Bobby was a farmer who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and repairing his farm equipment. He also loved to keep an eye on the stock market. Bobby enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and he appreciated being part of his community. He was of the Baptist faith. Bobby is survived by his wife, Marilyn Washington Rolland of the home, granddaughter, Lacey Mead of Germantown, stepchildren, Charles Holt of Cherry Valley, Natalie Duff and husband Lance of Salem, Arkansas, and Marilyn Rolland and husband Gary of Wynne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Frances Rolland, wife, Frances Rolland in 2014, son, Bobby Rolland, Jr, and daughter, Regina Rolland Stamps. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Kernodle Funeral Home from 10 AM until 11 AM. Funeral services will follow immediately after visitation with burial in Vanndale Cemetery.
