Bobby Singleton Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Watson-Hunt Funeral Home - Perry on May 8, 2025.
HAYNESVILLE –
Bobby Lee Singleton, 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at his home after a brief illness. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the cemetery at First Baptist Church of Haynesville.
Bobby was born in Perry to the late William and Ida Etheridge Singleton. A lifelong resident of Houston County, Bobby worked with Mid-State Pools and Spas, installing relaxing areas at middle Georgia homes for over twenty years. Bobby was happiest while enjoying time with his friends and family. His boisterous laughter was infectious. He was always ready to share a fishing story or sharing his love of music. Bobby often displayed his love of music and could be heard singing along with his favorite southern rock bands.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ray Singleton; his son, Michael Singleton; and his faithful Schnoodle, Molly, who had been by his side for sixteen years and passed away peacefully just hours before Bobby.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Bobby are his loving and devoted wife of fifty-two years, Marilyn Hutto Singleton his childhood, high school, and forever sweetheart. ; his daughter-in-law, Hannah McClintic Singleton; his grandchildren, Laura Kate Singleton, Roxie Singleton, Michael Otis Singleton, Thomas Hutto Singleton, Elle Singleton, Mac Singleton, and Rebecca Singleton; his siblings, Larry Singleton of Byron, Karon Brown (Larry) of Perry, Linda Causey (Sam) of Anderson, South Carolina, and Eric Singleton (Kiley) of Hawkinsville; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
