Bobby Lee Smither

Bobby Lee Smither, 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2026. A native of Frankfort, Bobby was born on March 30, 1944, to the late Virgil and Beatrice Smither. He is survived by his brother, David Smither (Sharon); sister, Anna Mason (David); son, Joey Craig (Jean); daughter, Peggy Craig; the love of his life, Verlie Payton; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and a special cousin, Karen Krosnick. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers: Charles Smither, Wayne Smither, Carl Smither, and Paul Smither. Pallbearers will be Joey Craig, Jason Craig, "Little" Jason Craig, Joe Craig, Tony Smither, and T.J. Cox. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Minister David Mason officiating.
