Bobby Wade Touchstone, Sr., passed away peacefully at his home in Woolmarket, MS on Saturday morning November 1, 2025. He lived 90 wonderful years! He was deeply loved by all his family, friends, and everyone he had the pleasure of knowing.
Born in Gulfport, Mississippi, on April 25, 1935, Bobby lived a long, full life marked by hard work, devotion, and love for those around him. He graduated from Woolmarket High School and dedicated 38 years of service to AT&T, where he was well respected for his work ethic and loyalty. Bobby also proudly served his country for six years—four years in the Marine Corps Reserve and two years in the United States Army.
A lifelong man of faith, Bobby was a devoted member of Cedar Lake Global Methodist Church. He was known for his steadfast character, sense of humor, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met.
Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Stacy Touchstone Radford; his parents, Realious and Margaret Touchstone; his brother, R.L. Touchstone; and his sisters, Nellie Dubuisson, Mary Ann Baker, and Carlene “Pete” McGee.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Carolyn Ladner Touchstone; his son, Bobby Touchstone, Jr. (Carrie); and his daughter, Tracy Kruse (Fred). He was a proud grandfather to Jeremy Chatham, Blake Touchstone, Trey Kruse (Kristina), Colby Touchstone, and Emily Corso (Trevor), and a great-grandfather to Madelyn Touchstone (mother, Linda Sivoravong), Charlotte Kruse, and soon-to-arrive baby, Silas Corso.
Bobby will be remembered for his unwavering faith, love for family, and dedication to those he cherished most. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Funeral Services will be held at Cedar Lake Global Methodist Church on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Coalville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cedar Lake Global Methodist Church in his honor.
