Age 67, of East Tawas, Michigan, passed away on May 4, 2024. Robert was born on June 18, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan. He was raised by his parents Robert and Helen Yax in the Detroit Area. Robert has been a resident of East Tawas, Michigan since 1998, and he really enjoyed spending his time up north. Robert had a special relationship with his partner of 29 years, Mary Ramsey. Those two had a great bond and spent many years making memories together before Mary's passing. Robert worked as a tow truck driver for Spencer Auto, and was very talented at his trade. Some of his favorite hobbies consisted of working on cars, spending time with his cats, cooking good meals, listening to polka music, and playing cards.
Robert is survived by his sister, Roberta (Sue Ann) McQueen; stepchildren, James Sadrianna and Jill Nott; grandchildren, Alycia, James (Amber), Justin (Ashlynn), Christina, and Charles; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Charlotte, Jaxson, Julian, Kolby, Gabriella, Peyton, Paisley, Neveah, Bentley, Adrian, Mason, and Nathaniel. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Helen Yax; partner of 29 years, Mary Ramsey; brothers, Terry White, Timothy White, and David White; and stepson, Charles Sadrianna.
Per Robert's wishes, cremation has taken place. You may leave an online condolence at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
