BOBBY EUGENE WOODS
Bobby Eugene Woods, 89, Sturgeon, MO went to be with the Lord Friday, July 4, 2025, at his home. He was born March 30, 1936, the son of the late Preston and Opal (Smith) Woods. On May 31, 1957, he was united in marriage to Wilma (Pierce) Woods.
In addition to his wife Wilma of 68 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons Kenneth Woods and his wife Debbie and Kile Woods and his wife Marilyn both of Sturgeon, MO; three brothers Donald Woods and his wife Mary Sue, Milford Woods and his wife Linda and Danny Woods; two sisters Berniece Mummel and Roberta Johnson; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, one daughter Melanie Nelson and two brothers preceded him in death.
Bobby worked for A.B. Chance Co. in Centralia, MO for over 44 years. He was a member of the Sturgeon Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, working on his farm and spending time with his friends, family and his God.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO. Interment will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Sturgeon, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till service time on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Horeb Cemetery Fund or to the Sturgeon Baptist Church, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240. Condolences may also be made to the family at www.oliverfuneralhome.net
