Bobbye Gillum Obituary

Born May 7, 1934, at Aly, Arkansas, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert Swaim and Clara Williams Swaim.
Bobbye was a long-time member of Calvery Baptist Church of White Hall.
She worked in retail for more than 30 years in sales and management at Sears, Gold's House of Fashion & Monica Scotts.
Bobbye enjoyed working in her flower beds and was known affectionately to be a "clean freak".
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Bobby Joe Gillum; sisters, Betty Watts & Dean Ivy; and a brother, O.L Swaim.
Bobbye is survived by her daughters, Vicki Brown, Pamela Johnson (Jerry), and Penny Silvey (Barney); brothers, Shelley Swaim & Royce Swaim; a grandson, Brian Avants; two great-grandsons; several nieces & nephews; and many other loving family & friends.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 6, 2025, 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son, with Brother Rodney Castleberry officiating, followed by burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral home from 6-8:00 p.m.
