Bobbye Rae Toland Lively, 90, of North Little Rock passed away December 21, 2024. Bobbye was born on June 15, 1934, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Her parents were Wallace and Mildred Toland. Bobbye grew up in North Little Rock and graduated from North Little Rock High School. She attended nursing school in Memphis for two years before marrying Bruce Lively. Bobbye was the Office Secretary for Lakewood Middle School and Lakewood Junior High School for over forty years. She was loved and admired by many parents and children she met throughout her tenure with the North Little Rock School District.
Bobbye is survived by her three sons and their families: Dow (Libby, Jay, Katie, and Henry; Rachel, Justin, Avery and Nolan), Larry (Patti, Cori and Matt; Cameron and Ed, Eli) Robert (Marilyn, Matthew; Rocklin Lively, Tynslie and Max Castillo). She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce, her brother Bill Toland and her two grandsons, Alex Lively and JB Lively.
Bobbye dearly loved flowers and gardening, shopping, and eating out on white table linens. She was a huge fan of all things Razorback. She was the ultimate optimist who provided encouragement and emotional support to all those around her.
Bobbye had a strong Christian faith and set for us an example of a Friend, Mother, Mother-In-Law, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She will be remembered and deeply missed by all her family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 30, 2024 at Central Baptist Church, NLR. Interment will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park.
