Bodie Michael Renner, a cherished and beloved infant, graced this world with his presence on March 3, 2026, at WVU Medicine Hospital Children's in West Virginia. Though his time on earth was brief, his impact was profound, leaving a mark on the hearts of all who had the joy of anticipating his arrival. Bodie's journey on this earth came to a peaceful close on March 4, 2026.
Bodie was the treasured son of Coby Renner and Haley Bishop, who awaited his birth with immeasurable love and excitement. He was the cherished grandson of John and Patty Renner, Christie Sims and Brandon Bishop, and the adored great-grandson of Roger and Cara Stanford, Don Renner and Joyce Voithofer, Barb Uphold and Phillip Bishop, and Barbara Sopuch. His great-great-grandparents, Penny and Earl Sims, also held Bodie dear in their hearts. Bodie's aunts, Mattie Bishop and Laney Bishop, along with his uncles, Matthew Renner (Taylor), Travis Renner (Kara), and Jerry Wilkins (Brittany), were looking forward to showering him with affection and guiding him through life's adventures. Great aunt and uncle, Tammy and David White, as well as Michelle and Dave Carr, were also ready to embrace their roles in Bodie's life with open arms. His cousin, Hannah Urick, along with numerous other loving family members, were eager to welcome Bodie into the family's warm embrace.
Bodie was welcomed at Heaven's gates by his great grandfather, Herbert Sopuch, who predeceased him.
In his short time, Bodie was deeply loved and brought immense joy to his family. Bodie's family imagined a future filled with bright moments, and though his physical presence is no longer with them, the love they have for him will continue to thrive.
Bodie's story, albeit brief, is a reminder of the fragility of life and the capacity of love to transcend time. His family will forever remember the day he came into their lives and the following day when he quietly slipped away, leaving behind memories of hope and love that will never fade.
As Bodie Michael Renner's family mourns his passing, they also celebrate the profound connection he created among them. They will hold dear the moments of anticipation, the dreams they shared for his future, and the unending love that will forever be associated with his name. Bodie's legacy is one of love, a reminder to cherish every moment, and to hold close the bonds of family. Though his footprints on this earth were small, the impressions he left on the hearts of those who loved him are vast and deep.
In the hearts of his family, Bodie Michael Renner will always be remembered as a beloved son, grandson, great-grandson, great-great-grandson, nephew, cousin, and an angel who, for a moment, was theirs to hold. His spirit will continue to shine brightly, guiding them through their lives with the memory of his brief but meaningful existence.
