Bogdan Avsec Obituary
Bogdan was the beloved husband of the late Joan Avsec (nee Donovan); dear father of Veronica Avsec, Mark (Colleen) Avsec, Brian (Debora) Avsec and Kim (Robert) Carter; dear grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of two; brother of Veronica (Albert) Pestotnik (both deceased) and Carol Ann Janc (Paul deceased).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday May 6 at 9:30 AM at St. Mary Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).
Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
The family will receive friends on Monday May 5 from 4-7 PM at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. (Willoughby).

I was sorry to read this obituary about Don. I have many fond memories of my IBM days in Cleveland with Don. I remember the get-togethers in the basement on Abby ave. His refrigerator in the basement with the keg of beer and the spigot handle on the front door. After my being transferred to Las Vegas, we still kept in contact. When I visited back in Cleveland, we always met somehow, somewhere to keep up our friendship. GOD BLESS, My Dear Friend
