Bogumila K. Bialas

On November first Bogumila (Bogusia/Bobbie) Bialas passed at the age of 73 peacefully at home. Born in Poland, then moved to Chicago as a child with her parents, Jan and Zofia Patyk, and sister Teresa. In Chicago, Bogumila went on to graduate from UIC in education and married her partner Anthony. She is survived by her daughter, Stefanie Bialas, and niece, Melissa Karch. Bogumila was a kind soul, with a touch of stubborn, and a true animal lover. In the wake of her passing a donation can be made to your local animal shelter in her name. Visitation will be taking place on Thursday, November 6, 2025 beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at G. L.
