Boniface "Bonnie" Francis – Bernhart, 77, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on November 10, 2021. There will be a memorial visitation held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM with a service to follow beginning at 1:00PM. Burial will take place at Harrods Creek Cemetery located in Oldham County, Kentucky following the service.
Bonnie was born on June 4, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Annie Greenwell and was raised alongside 4 siblings. She later went on to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree from Spalding University. She enjoyed all sorts of crafting, especially painting ceramics; playing cards, bowling (in her younger years of course) Bingo, and frequenting the casino.
Bonnie was passionate about life and enjoyed doing anything that included her friends and family; She moved to the beat of her own drum always. I am sure to say that if there was music in the room she would be bobbing her head and singing even if she did not know the lyrics. Bonnie made the best of every moment and was grateful for every experience. She was sassy, sweet, and was always accepting of anyone she crossed paths with. She has touched so many lives and will always have a lasting impression on the ones that knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her previous marriages, William Francis and William Bernhart; and her siblings, Rita (Bert), Anna, Barbara. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sibling, Charlie (Beverly); her children, William (Andy) Francis, Virginia (Ginny) Francis (Emmanuel) and James Francis; her grandchildren, Aamil, Jada, Sharlyn, Ariela, Christina and Becky, as well as a host of other family and friends who loved her and will miss her very much.
