BONITA A. SARKO (nee Kahoun), age 82, Beloved wife of the late Louis Sarko. Cherished mother of Thomas (Ursula), Tim (Mary) and Ted (Susan). Loving grandmother of Sally Gordon (Brendan), Oliver, Peyton Burgess (JP), Henry, Matthew, Kolbe, Michael, Francis and Paul. Great grandmother of Bruno, Peter, Marigold, Beckett, Nolan, and Booker. Passed away September 29, 2025, on the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel, after having fought a long term illness courageously until the end. She entered eternal life peacefully with family present during the recitation of the night prayer of compline.

Bonnie was a retired aide with Lakewood Public Schools, worked and volunteered for years at VFW Post 2533, and was a long time member of American Legion Post 211. She was an expert puzzler, loved all things cats, and was known for having a green thumb with her outdoor gardens and award winning house plants. She will be dearly missed.

All Services Private. The family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice of Western Reserve at https://hospicewr.org or American Legion Post 211 at https://americanlegionpost211.org
