Bonita Thomas Obituary
Bonita “Bonnie” Marie Thomas of Holly, MI passed away on Monday October 6, 2025 at Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit. She was 59 years old.
Born October 16, 1965 in Madison Heights she was youngest of seven children born to Carl and Lillian Mary (Nealen) Thomas. Bonnie was diverse throughout her life, starting in the Automotive industry, receiving her BSN through Alpena Community College, worked as an RN for many years, eventually settling into management position of her local and loved Family Fare in Oscoda, MI. She enjoyed reading, cross-stitch, traveling, kayaking, an appreciation for nature, music, art, and her cat Romeo.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Ashley) Moran, Cassidy Skurda, Nicole (Ron) Ward, as well as Siblings John (Karen) Thomas, Marilyn Thomas, Richard Thomas, Judie (David) Santo, Pam (Michael) Skutnik, Suzanne Bennett, six grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents.
