Bonnie Toy Biddix, aged 84, of Asheville, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 1, 2025. Born on July 29, 1941, in Waynesville, Bonnie led a life characterized by her unwavering love for her family.
Bonnie enjoyed her work at Walmart on Bleachery Boulevard until her retirement. Prior to that, she contributed her time and talent at IHOP, where she made lasting memories and relationships over shared meals and friendly service. She approached her work with the same passion she had for her loved ones, always prioritizing connections with those around her.
Bonnie's personality was vibrant and warm, a true reflection of her love for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She cherished each moment spent with them and took great joy in shopping, always seeking out opportunities to connect with others through shared experiences.
She leaves behind her beloved children: Timothy Carver, Diana Keener and husband Wayne, Steven Carver, and Lisa Ann Tsuchida. Her grandchildren, Mark Gallagher and wife Courtney, Samantha Carver, Amanda Carver, Bradley Carver, and Daniel Tsuchida will carry forward her legacy, as will her great-grandchildren, Daeglan Gallagher and Teigan Gallagher. Bonnie is also survived by her sister, Kimberly Michelle Phillips and husband Randall, along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family who will remember her fondly.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, William Robert Toy and Addie Louise Belt Coward; her son-in-law, Todd Tsuchida; and her sisters: Patricia Ann McCall and husband Johnny, and Nancy Moody Sutton. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Anders Rice & Roper Funeral Home located at 1428 Patton Avenue in Asheville, NC.
