Bonnie Kay Bugay

Bonnie Kay Bugay, a registered nurse of 30 years and resident of LaPlace, LA, died peacefully surrounded by family on September 11, 2025 at the age of 70. Bonnie is survived by her husband, Dan Rudy Bugay; her children, Ryan Bugay (wife Meghan Ott) and Mariah Roussel (husband Jude Roussel); and her grandchildren, Anastasia and Aizen Roussel. She is also survived by her brother, three sisters and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Catharine Havens; and her son, Adam Bugay. Bonnie was born in Rock Island, IL on June 1, 1955. She was a devoted mother and a highly-skilled nurse who dedicated her life to helping others. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her. A celebration memorial service is scheduled for 4:00-6:00 p.m. on September 19, 2025 at Millet Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace, LA (Address: 2806 W Airline Highway).
