Bonnie Davenport born August 6, 1955, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025.

Born in Stuttgart, Germany, she traveled to many different places as her father served in the U.S. Army. She grew up in Killeen, Texas, where she graduated from Killeen High School in 1973. She worked as a paralegal for various law offices in both the Houston and Central Texas area. She also worked for the Department of Defense for several years. A job she loved and truly enjoyed doing.

Bonnie was a kind and generous soul whose warmth touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a deep love for her country and a profound respect for those who serve. A proud patriot, she greatly admired Gary Sinise and supported his tireless work on behalf of veterans and their families. Her compassion shined brightly in all she did, especially in her devotion to animals, friends, and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ret. SFC Hugh Davenport and Lillian Davenport; as well as her brother, Michael Davenport. Bonnie is survived by her niece, Melissa Allen and her children: Morgan, Rachel, and Luke of Conroe, Texas; as well as aunts and cousins from Georgia and Florida.

A memorial service will be held at Killeen Memorial Park to honor and celebrate Bonnie's life on November 5, 2025, at 12:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to local animal shelters, the Wounded Warrior Project, or the Gary Sinise Foundation, all causes close to Bonnie's heart.

Bonnie's kindness, laughter, patriotism, and love will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her. Rest in Peace Bonnie.
