Bonnie Dissinger Dunnihoo was born in Bouton, Iowa at the family home on October 12, 1923.
The family moved to Newton Iowa, where Bonnie graduated from High School. She enjoyed returning for
several High School class reunions.
Bonnie married Joe Jeffress and they had two children, Shannon & Cary. Bonnie later married Dick Dunnihoo
and they lived many years in Woodward Iowa. Bonnie worked and retired from the Woodward State Hospital and School.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her son Cary Jeffress, husband Dick, grandson Joel Jeffress, parents Ira & Velma Dissinger & sisters Fern League, Doris Wilmot & Betty Waldridge.
She leaves behind her daughter Shannon (David) Gabbert, daughter-in-law Lynn Jeffress, grandchildren Travis Meester, Amanda Gabbert, Kari Lynn (Jake) Jeffress, Kendra (Andrew) Gabbert-Steward, great-grandchildren Zake (Alexis) Carr, Joey Carr, Keifer Polich, Shiloh Nisley, Luke Steward & great-great grandson Connor Carr. Also her step-children, Debra Olinger, Melinda Dunnihoo, Beth Haas & Nancy Dunnihoo.
Private family services will be held at a later date at the Peoples Cemetery near Bouton, IA.
