Mrs. Gooden was born on March 27, 1941 in Atlanta Ga, to the late Willie R. DeLong and the late Irene Barnett DeLong. She worked as an Administrative Assistant and was a member of Meansville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters Kecia (Charles) Bennett of Thomaston Ga, Heidi (Corbin) Ridgeway of Tx, sons Joseph (Deanna) Gooden of Ball Ground Ga, Dwayne (Rosy) Gooden of Canton Ga, Kyle (Nell) Gooden of Thomaston Ga, brother Ray DeLong of Meansville Ga, 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday October 13, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Gathering. Burial will follow in Fincher Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Gathering on Monday October 13, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
