Bonnie L. Kalp Muccioli, 89, of Star Junction, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at her home. Born July 14, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA she was the daughter of the late James and Dolores Kineer Kalp. A resident of Star Junction for the past 70 years, Mrs. Muccioli was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church, Perryopolis, was a homemaker and later worked at the Perryopolis Auto Auction and Linden Hall. She was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy, Perryopolis, was very free spirited, loved to dance especially to 'Fireball'. always had a bag of candy she would take to the club. She was affectionately known as 'Bonzai', a name given to her by Kim & Corinne.
She is survived by her son & daughter in law Lou & Chrissy Muccioli of Perryopolis, sister Olive McHenry of San Diego, CA, two granddaughters Stephanie Lynn Bock-Dykstra, Gina Rose Muccioli, and two great granddaughters Lydia Dykstra, Karina Hall. She is preceded in death by her husband Lodovico 'Lud’ Muccioli, brother John Kalp, sister Hazel Shepler, and dear cousin Donna Macik.
A Celebration of Life will take place on November 8, 2025 at the Sons & Daughters of Italy, Perryopolis. Bonnie’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515. The family wishes to extend special thanks to granddaughter Gina Rose for her unwavering care in taking care of Bonnie for the past 15 years, to OSPTA Hospice Team, Brittany, Sweet Sally, Jenna, Cherisse and Carey, for their loving care and support.
