Bonnie L. (Frye) Scott, 75, of Mashpee, passed away unexpectedly at Falmouth Hospital on January 30, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Prince Scott and daughter of the late Milton Frye, Sr. and Marjorie Hendricks.
Bonnie graduated from Lawrence High School in Falmouth. She worked at the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds for many years until her retirement. She was a tribal member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. Bonnie enjoyed gardening and loved to cook, especially for her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
Bonnie is survived by two children, Darlene Scott and Marita Scott of Mashpee, 9 siblings, Carolyn Turner, Milton Frye Jr., Donna Johnson, Yvonne Avant, Joanne Frye, Ellen Sharpe, Nancy Rose, Gregory Joseph, Kevin Frye Sr., 3 grandchildren Tracy, Kendall, Kobi, 2 great grandchildren Deandre, Trenton, her grand dog Brinda, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson Ryan and great grandson Okemos.
A visitation will be held at Chapman Funeral and Cremations 74 Algonquin Ave. (Rte 151) Mashpee on Tuesday February 8, 2022 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. A funeral service will follow in Chapman Funerals and Cremations at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in the Old Indian Cemetery in Mashpee.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
