George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc.It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bonny Kay (Serfass) Lindsey, a beloved daughter, aunt, and friend. She passed away on December 6, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital - Bethlehem Campus.
Born on November 9, 1955, in Easton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter to the late Russell L. Serfass, Sr. and Catherine E. (Engler) Serfass.
Bonny dedicated over 40 years to the field of medical care, prominently serving at St. Luke's in various departments, with her most recent role in Clinical Documents and Coding Integrity. She also had a background as a Licensed Practical Nurse and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Lehigh Carbon Community College. Bonny's commitment to her work reflected her caring nature, as she consistently brought compassion and integrity to her role in the healthcare industry.
Bonny was a lively spirit known for her wicked sense of humor and her zest for life. She cherished time spent with friends, whether it was attending concerts, touring local wineries, or enjoying the occasional trip to the casino. A devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, she also had a passion for racing, dirt tracks, and sun-soaked days at the beach.
Bonny is survived by her nephews, Christopher Uhler and his wife Debbi, Bruce Uhler, and Jamie Uhler; her partner Scott King and best friend Tressa Bunch. She was predeceased by her siblings, Sandra K. Uhler and Russell Serfass Jr.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on December 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery in Pen Argyl, 1138 Middletown Rd, Pen Argyl, PA 18072, offering an opportunity for those who loved Bonny to share memories and honor her legacy together.
Bonny's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. May she find peace, and may we carry her memory forward with love and joy.
