Boone Bautro

Boone (Bon) Louis Valdez Bautro Sr, 53, of Clayton, New Jersey, passed away on October 10th, 2025, at Inspira Medical Center in Mullica Hill. Boone Sr is survived by his wife, Jovelyn, his only son, Boone Jr, his brother, Ronnie (Mary Grace), and his father, Erano. He is preceded in death by his mother, Concepcion.
Boone Sr was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Jefferson Methodist Hospital to Erano Bautro and the late Concepcion (Connie) Valdez Bautro on October 11th, 1971. The family moved from Philadelphia to South Jersey where he grew up and graduated from Washington Township High School in 1990.
After graduation, he went on to serve the U.S. military as a Navy Corman for 20 years (1993-2013). After retiring in July 2013, he came back home to his family in South Jersey where he spent the rest of his life trying to be the best father, husband, brother, son, friend, and coworker he could be.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service and visitation that will be held at Mary Mother of Mercy Parish, Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, 500 Greentree Rd, Glassboro, NJ 08028, on Friday, October 17th. Visitation will begin in the chapel (first door on the right when entering the church) at 9:30 am and end at 11:30 am followed immediately by the Mass of Christian Burial.
