James Perrone Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Adams Funeral Home - Woodstown on Feb. 17, 2026.
James Linwood Perrone III, of Pennsville, passed away on February 14, 2026.

James was the son of James Jr. and Madeline Perrone. He graduated from Washington Township High School and continued his education at Gloucester County Community College. In his early years, he worked in construction, a job that reflected his strong work ethic and hands-on nature.

Before moving from Washington Township, James was deeply involved in his community. He was a member of the Lion's Club, served as a dedicated Cub Scout Master, and in his younger years participated in the Police Explorers program. He valued service, leadership, and guiding young people, roles he carried out with pride and commitment.

Above all, James cherished his family. One of his favorite pastimes was taking spontaneous drives with his beloved wife, Jean-getting in the car with no plans, no destination, simply enjoying the journey together and seeing where the road would lead. Those simple adventures perfectly reflected his love for life, family, and togetherness.

He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Jean; his children, Alessandra (Scott) Ehle and James IV (Kimberly); his father, James; his brother, Gary (Patricia); his four grandchildren, Scott, Claire, Madison, and Logan; and his sister-in-law, Anna Marie Perrone.

He was predeceased by his mother, Madeline; his brother, Christopher; and his grandson, James V.

Services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098. The viewing will begin at 4:00 PM, with the service to follow at 5:00 PM. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Condolences may be shared at adamsfuneralhome.org.
