Bounthane Koulavongsa Obituary
Bounthane was born in Laos on March 15, 1961, and moved to the United States in 1988. She settled in North Carolina in 1995 and worked in the textiles industry as a seamstress for Harris Covington Hosiery Mill.
She is survived by her husband, Sinakhone Koulavongsa, of the home; daughters, Kaieko Sysourath, of Winston-Salem, and Santa Phothisen and husband, Johnny, of Burlington; and five grandchildren, Austin, Jasmine, Rylan, Conner, and McKenzie.
A traditional Budhist funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025 in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point with a cremation ceremony following in the Life Tribute Center.
