Boutros Nicolas, 86, of
Youngsville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Boutros was born in Lebanon and immigrated to the United States in 1985 with his wife and seven children.
He lived in New Jersey for more than 38 years and moved to North Carolina with his family in 2023. He couldn't tolerate the snowy cold weather anymore!
He worked two and sometimes three jobs to support his family. He was a security guard, a bus driver and a factory worker for many years. His children graduated with doctoral and masters degrees. He was a grateful and proud father.
He was the youngest of his siblings. He was a family man. He loved to have his children and grandchildren around him. Every Sunday was a family reunion with barbecuing and celebrations! He loved to entertain and cook for his children and grandchildren who learned the importance of love, devotion and family connections. He spent his retirement days in
Youngsville, NC enjoying the peaceful quiet days surrounded by nature. The highlight of his week was attending church on Sunday. He never missed a day of prayers, his rosary in hand all the time.
He was preceded in death by his wife Naameh Fayad Nicolas and his brothers Jabbour, Nicolas, Barakat, Youssef, and Assia, and his son in law Fadi Hindie.
He is survived by his children Antoinette Hindie, Emile Nicolas with his wife Claude and their children: Peter, Sharbel and Rebecca; Joseph Nicolas, Fadia Nicolas and her daughter Cedra, Sonia Nicolas, Lina Nicolas and Toni Nicolas with his wife Olga. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces in the United States, Australia, and Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church or your
charity of choice.
A funeral mass will be held at Saint Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church in Raleigh on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 11 AM. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30-11:00 AM.
