Boyce Burton Obituary
Boyce "B.T" Thomas Burton Jr., 77, passed away March 8, 2024 with his beloved wife at his bedside. A service honoring the life of B.T. will be held at All Saints' Episcopal Church, Saturday April 13th, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
B.T was born in Chattanooga, TN on October 9, 1946 to the late Boyce Thomas Burton, Sr. and Zettie Ray Wooten Burton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Milton Burton. B.T. devoted his life to serving his community, family, and the Lord. He retired from Georgia Moisture Testing after years of service. He was an active member at All Saints Episcopal where he enjoyed listening Gospels and reading his bible. He also enjoyed cheering on Minor League Baseball and traveling to support numerous teams. Most importantly B.T enjoyed spending time with his beloved family. B.T. was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend who will be deeply missed.
B.T. is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Lillian Burton; children: Douglas Van Bever, Lisa (Chris) Ramey, and Kimberly (Jamie) Hollifeild; grandchildren: Brian Ramey, Jonathon (Samantha) Ramey, Stephen Ramey, Madison Van Bever, and Josh Elliott Wolfe; great grandchild, Emma Ramey; sister, Rhona Alexander, and a host of extended friends and family.
