Brad John Levron Sr., 58, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes and a resident of Bourg, passed away on September 29, 2024.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 9am to 11am, with the memorial mass to begin at 11am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Naquin Levron; son, Brad Levron Jr. and partner Kimberly Peeples; daughter, Kimberly Lamberton and husband Jesse; grandchildren, Audrey Levron, Travis LeBoeuf Jr., Kurstin LeBouef, Titus LeBoeuf, Kayden Liner, Kolby Peeples, and Kha'driana Peeples; brother, Carter Levron and wife Betti; brother in law, Darell Gautreaux; sister, Sharon Griffin and husband Richard; Godson, Travis Leboeuf Sr.; and Goddaughter, Stacy Pierre.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Elias Levron; brother, Phil Levron; and sister Darla Gautreaux.
Brad was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He dedicated nearly 4 decades to shipbuilding. His time was often spent in his boat where he found joy in casting a line. If you knew Brad, you've probably heard him ask if they were biting. From sunup to sundown, you could find him throwing a cast net. His legacy will live on in the nets he mended, the waters where he fished, and through the countless lives he changed.
His family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Mani and the hardworking Chabert Oncology staff.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
