Robert Levron Obituary
Robert was married to his devoted wife, Elaine U. Levron, for over 60 years, cherishing a life built together in love and faith. A dedicated pipeline welder and foreman with J. Ray McDermott for 40 years, he was known for his hard work and commitment. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life-spending time outdoors working the land with his tractor, surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and beloved dogs. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, and later his favorite pastimes became drag racing, golfing, or relaxing in his favorite rocking chair with a snack and the television on. A proud member of the Knights of Columbus, he served as a Third Degree Knight. He held a deep passion for his Catholic faith and church community, serving as an usher for many years. Robert will forever be remembered as a kind and generous man, taking care of many people throughout his lifetime. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine U. Levron; children, Robert "Boo" Levron Jr., Chris Levron, and Aimee Fonseca (Berwick); grandchildren, Kendall Levron, Bree Gourgues, Anna Gourgues, Brooke Levron, Destiny Fonseca, Brodie Fonseca, and Beau Fonseca; great-grandchildren, Kehlani,and Remi; siblings, Kenneth, AnnieMae, Theresa, and Judy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Berwick and Adda Levron Sr.; great-grandson, Aiden; brothers, Clifford, Berwick and David.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at St. Louis Catholic Church from 10:30 am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

It Couldn´t Be Done
Somebody said that it couldn´t be done,
But he with a chuckle replied.
That "maybe it couldn´t," but he would be one.
Who wouldn´t say so till he´d tried.
So, he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried, he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing.
That couldn´t be done, and he did it.
Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you´ll never do that.
At least no one ever has done it".
But he took off his coat, and he took of his hat,
And the first thing we knew he´d begun it.
With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin,
Without any doubting or quiddit,
He started to sing as he tackled the thing.
That couldn´t be done, and he did it.
There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
There are thousands to prophesy failure.
There are thousands to point out to you one by one,
The dangers that wait to assail you.
But just buckle in with a bit of a grin,
Just take off our coat and go to it;
Just start in to sing as you tackle the thing.
That "cannot be done," and you´ll do it.
