Brad Markley Obituary
He was born March 19, 1971 to Sheila (McColm) Markley and Darrel Markley in Girard,KS. Brad attended elementary and middle school in McCune, KS and graduated in 1989 from Girard High School. After high school, Brad earned an associate degree in auto body technology from Pittsburg State University. Brad was employed at Pitt Plastics until opening Markley Construction in 2004, owning and operating until July 2021. Brad Married Guinn (Sell) Ehrheart May 30, 1992. May 2, 2015, he was united in marriage to Cheryl Scales. Brad was an avid outdoorsman, fishing and hunting any chance he could; but especially loved it with his sons. Brad was loved by many, and possessed a giant and generous heart.
He leaves behind 4 boys; Brad Markley, Jr. (Haley), Drake Markley (Kaylee), Blake Patton (Eva), Keaton Patton, his brother Brian Markley (Regina), sister Amanda Williams (Kurt), his parents, Darrel and Sheila Markley, grandmother Marvella Markley, his wife, Cheryl Markley and 5 beautiful grandchildren; Aubree Markley, Nash Markley, Knox Markley, Tucker Patton and Oaklee Patton.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday March 12, 2023, from 3:30 to 6:00 at Brenner Mortuary. Memorial donations can be made to the SEK Humane Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
