Age 61, of Shaler Twp., on Monday, December 1, 2025, Brad was the beloved husband of Rebecca Meyer Slagel; father of Danielle Langton (Matthew), William Alan Slagel; son of Betty Jean Slagel and the late William John Slagel; grandfather of Smith and Rooney Langton.
Brad was a great man in every sense of the word—unapologetic in who he was, steady and loyal to the core, and the kind of person everyone instantly felt at ease around. He could fix or build just about anything and he approached life with the same dedication and hard work.
Family was everything to him. He loved without conditions, showed up without question, and made every person he met feel like a lifelong friend. He was happiest outdoors and believed life was meant to be celebrated.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and generosity that will continue to guide all who were lucky enough to know him.
Please keep telling his stories — that was one of Brad’s favorite things to do and we can keep his beautiful spirit alive by carrying on this act.
Celebrate Brad’s life with his family on Friday from 3-7 PM at PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. The family respectfully suggests donations be made to the American Heart Association, 444 Liberty Ave #1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
