Brad Twait, age 56, of Fairmont, MN, passed away on December 6, 2025, at his mother's home in Lone Rock where he had been living the last three weeks. He was surrounded by his loving family when he entered into the arms of his Heavenly Father. Celebration of Life for Brad will be 11:00 am Wednesday December 10th at St. John's Lutheran Church north of Cylinder. Visitation will be 10:00 am until the service time on Wednesday at the church. Inurnment will be at North St. John's Cemetery at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Lentz Funeral Home of Algona. Online condolences may be left at www.lentzfuneralhome.com.
Brad Wayne Twait, the son of Wayne Twait and Janis Thompson, was born on December 22, 1968, in Emmetsburg. He attended Algona High School. Brad worked at various jobs around Algona and Fairmont. He hauled for multiple trucking companies. Brad then became an owner and operator as a semi-truck driver. He took great pride in his semi. Brad love having Teresa and their dogs ride with him.
Brad and Teresa Zittritsch were married in Blue Earth, MN on September 26, 2021. They were married 4 years and together 14 years. Brad loved the Steelers and the Hawkeyes. He lived life to the fullest and loved going up north to see his uncle Kenneth for Thanksgiving, going to his Mom's house for Christmas, his sister Monica's sugar cookies and Teresa's cooking. Brad loved going to casino with family and friends. He will be missed by many of us.
Left to cherish Brad's memory is his wife Teresa of Fairmont, MN; Mother, Janis Thompson of Lone Rock; father, Wayne Twait (Marcia Jacobsen) of Emmetsburg; sister Monica Hoch and her husband Scott and their children Shay and Erin of Fairmont, MN; mother and father in-law, Rodney and Janette Zittritsch of Algona; sisters-in-law, Penny (Rob) Nelson and their children Travis, Shawn, Glenn, and Kurt of West Bend, Tammy (Jeff) Schealler and their children Kayla, Taylor, Morgan of Algona, Brenda Peterson and her children Corbin, Dalton, Courtney, Cameron and Brett of Algona, Suzanne (Justin) Zittritsch and their children Paige, Jordan, and Kailey of West Bend and Kristina Zittritsch and her children Cora, Alyssa, and Emmy of Fairmont, MN. He was preceded in death by his brother, Todd Twait; grandparents, Merle and Darlene Austin and Donald and Marjorie Twait; and an uncle, Craig Twait.
