Bradley Erdman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shimon Funeral Home on Feb. 7, 2026.
Bradley Scott Erdman passed away at home from a long-term illness on Tuesday morning February 3, 2026, at the age of 59.
Bradley was born on October 6,1966. He was the only son of Annalisa Reis. Brad had a special relationship with his mom. They talked every day and spent hours together during Brad's illness.

Together Bradley and Joan had two sons, Bradley is survived by his son, Joe Erdman (Jamie) and was preceded in death by his son, David Erdman. He is lovingly remembered by his mother Annalisa Reis (Werner), his father Larry Erdman (Janice), his grandmother Lisa Boyd, along with his aunts and uncles, Margaret Zynski (Robert), Elaine Humer (Jay), Jessica Boyd, Amy Argires, Claire Regall (Brian), Shelly Parra (Mark), and Kay Willoughby who all loved him very much.

Brad lived in Wisconsin for most of his life. When Brad was a young man, he enjoyed traveling and spending time in Europe while his mother lived there. When he was out of school he spent two summers in London working for Atari at Piccadilly Square in London. He ran the arcades. The time spent there was very memorable.
When he returned to Wisconsin, Brad enjoyed the Northern Woods, especially during hunting season. It was a time for him to reconnect with nature and renew his spirit. He also found delight in nurturing his garden. It was a pastime he enjoyed very much.
Brad graduated from Hamilton High School in 1984.
He went on to additional training, completing a state-approved program as a CNA. He enjoyed working in a nursing home in Minacqua, WI.
Brad also worked at Time Trucking in Hartford. He delivered freight across Wisconsin and the midwest for years. He enjoyed his job, and spending time with his fellow workers. They were immensely supportive of Brad during some difficult challenges of his life, and he was always very grateful for their kindness.
Brad had a gentleness and thoughtfulness that attracted many to him. No doubt this is why he was well loved by those elderly patients he treated in the nursing home. He had a capacity for love, kindness, and generosity. He had a sense of humor that brought many smiles and a sensitivity for the feelings of those around him. Like a shining star his memory will light the way for many in the years to come.
Happiness in a day could be spent with his animals around him. There wasn't a cat or bird or an aquarium of fish that didn't get his attention. They were fed and cared for… and spoiled when needed.
His aunties had a special bond with Brad, and he never held back from showing a grateful heart and appreciation for them as they expressed their love in many ways.
Brad will be remembered for so many endearing qualities. His friends will remember him fondly. His family will miss him terribly, but his mother will especially feel a great loss. Her son was her closest friend and confidant. Brad's son Joe will also feel a deep loss for his father.
Our only regret is we all didn't have enough time to share our hearts with him. But we know one day we will see him again. Because Bradley is now in God's memory too, a very safe place until the resurrection occurs when he will be reunited with all his loved ones. This is a day we will long for until Brad comes home.
Fellowship with friends and family for Bradley will be held on February 17, 2026 at Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St., Hartford, WI 53027). Family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 till 12:00. We would love to see you.
