Pheng Lor Obituary
In Loving Memory of
Pheng 'Biggie' Lor
April 9, 1985 – July 25, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, son, uncle, and friend, Biggie who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 40.
Born on April 9, 1985, in Sacramento, California, Biggie spent his early years surrounded by the warmth of a large and loving family. He graduated from Hamilton High School in Sussex, Wisconsin.
For nearly a decade, Biggie worked with dedication and pride at GE Health Care, beginning his career there in January 2016. He was known among his colleagues for his quiet strength, reliability, and unwavering work ethic.
Outside of work, Biggie found joy and peace in the outdoors. He had a deep love for duck hunting and fishing-pastimes that allowed him to connect with nature and spend quality time with those closest to him.
In recent years, Biggie faced health challenges with courage and quiet resilience. Despite the hardships brought on by kidney failure, he remained hopeful and continued to bring warmth and humor to those around him.
Biggie was truly a blessing to our family-someone whose calm spirit, gentle heart, and steady presence brought comfort, laughter, and love into our lives. His absence leaves a space that can never be filled, and we will miss him deeply, every single day.
Biggie is survived by his loving parents, Yee and Tom Lor; his five brothers, John, Bill, Phong, Jackie, and Chris; his sister, Cathy; three sisters-in-law, Paddy, Choua and Mailia; ten nieces, Peyton, Erin, Hayden, Paisley, Rose, Dannaca, Adalyn, Everly, Ameila, Eden; five nephews, Mathais, Owen, Isaiah, Solomon and Mason; his uncle, Chue; his aunt, Pa Ia; his cousins, Elinor, Lucas, Elijah, Aniva; and countless more uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Biggie was a kind and gentle soul, whose presence brought comfort and strength to many. His life, though far too short, touched many people and will continue to inspire love and remembrance.
