Bradley Allen "Brad" Hovious, 70, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, in Fishers, Indiana.

Born on May 1, 1955, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, Brad lived a life marked by humor, creativity, and deep affection for those around him.

Brad was known to many as a free and fun-loving spirit. His quick wit earned him the affectionate titles of "King of the one-liners" and "Bartender Extraordinaire" among his friends. Whether behind the bar or in everyday conversation, Brad had a gift for making people laugh and feel at ease.

A man of many talents and passions, Brad found joy in playing guitar and painting- creative outlets that reflected his vibrant personality. Music was a constant companion throughout his life; he loved listening to it as much as he did playing it. In recent years, some of his most cherished moments were spent with his granddaughter Leia Hovious-Andrade. Their time together brought him immense happiness and comfort.

Though he had not practiced in some time, Brad remained rooted in his Catholic faith and always held God close to his heart.

In October 2025, Brad was diagnosed with late-stage cancer. With characteristic courage and grace, he chose to spend his final months surrounded by family. He moved into the home of his son Max Hovious and daughter-in-law Deitany Andrade in Fishers, where he received unwavering love and care. The presence of his granddaughter Leia brought light to even the most difficult days.

Brad is survived by his beloved son Max Hovious; granddaughter Leia Hovious-Andrade; daughter-in-law Deitany Andrade; brothers Jeffery Hovious, Mike Hovious, Greg Hovious, and Shannon Hovious; and former wife Darri Hovious. As well as a special recognition of some of Bradley's close friends: Glen James, Doug Uhling, Steve Foster, Jack Hoff, Doug Coleman, and Dave Harrington.

He was preceded in death by his parents Patricia and Max Hovious and his brother Todd Hovious.

Brad's legacy lives on through the laughter he inspired, the art he created, and the love he shared so freely with those fortunate enough to know him.

May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
