Ronald "Keith" Hovious

Ronald "Keith" Hovious, 88, Martinsville, passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at The Waters of Martinsville.
He was born on Saturday, September 26, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Ora Harold and F. Murl (Moran) Hovious.
Keith was a 1954 graduate of Paragon High School. He worked at Grassyfork Fisheries for many years before and after going to work for GM Truck and Bus in Indianapolis. Keith retired from GM Truck and Bus in Indianapolis after 30+ years. He was a member of the Hyndsdale Christian Church.
Survivors are his wife, Ruth Ann (Griffin) Hovious, whom he married on January 2, 1958; daughter, Michele Kay Hovious; siblings, Richard Darrell Hovious of Martinsville, Quentin Eugene Hovious of Marion and Judy Black of Martinsville; grandson, James Ronald Allen "Jamie" Hovious; great grandsons, Lincoln Steele Hovious, Conner James Hovious, James Michael Kerr, and Jonathan Kennedy Kerr III.
Keith was preceded in death by a son, Michael Keith Hovious, his parents, Ora and Murl; brothers, Ora Duane Hovious, John David Hovious, Oscar Hovious, and Frederick L. Miller.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Costin Funeral Chapel with Rev. Susan Hanscom officiating. The visitation will be at the funeral chapel on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to the funeral service.
The burial will be at Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Browns Crossing.
