BYRON ~ Bradley Allen Ingram, devoted husband and father, age 53, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was born in Rockford on November 11, 1969 the son of Jim and Sandra (Burns) Haynes. Brad spent his life in Byron and graduated from Byron High School Class of 1987. He worked for many years as a mason and then at Collins Aerospace in Rockford. He married the love of his life Jeannine Steffa on July 29, 2000 and together they built a life they loved. His family was his world and he spent every day making sure his kids felt love and supported in all they did. He did not believe in just being a father to his kids but to extend his kindness and love to any of the kids in his life; making sure they all knew that they had a place, that they belonged, and that they could all accomplish anything they dreamed. He spent much of his free time coaching Byron Middle Scholl Wrestling, Extreme Wrestling, Byron Jr. Tackle Football, and Roy Gayle baseball. When he wasn’t coaching, he could be found grilling and smoking meat. He loved to tail gate and was an excellent cook. He was a good friend who you could always count on to help you out with whatever he could. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Glenda and Joyce. He is survived and missed by his wife, Jeannine; children, Colton, Eli, Nickolas, and Aubrey; siblings, Sandy (Terry) Gobin, David (Kathy) Ingram, Penny Hammer, Joe (Tina) Haynes, and Matt Haynes; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Cornerstone Church in Byron. A funeral service to honor his well lived life will be held at 10:00am on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Cornerstone Church in Byron with Pastor Randy Snider officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may directed to the family.
