Obituary of Bradley John Kragness
Bradley (Brad) John Kragness, age 72, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2024 in Edina, Minnesota. He was born on September 13, 1951 in Canby, Minnesota.
Brad graduated from Marshall High School in Marshall, Minnesota, and then continued his education at the University of Minnesota, and graduated with his JD in 1983 from the Hamline School of Law. For over 40 years, he was a private attorney dedicated to supporting his clients.
In 1992 off the coast of Maui, Hawaii, he married Terri (nee Kenyon), and in 1995 they had their only child, Anna, who was the joy of Brad's life. As a family, Brad, Terri and Anna enjoyed many domestic and international travels, and especially cherished their returns to Maui. While Terri and Anna brought Brad all over the world, he was happiest at their home in Richfield, Minnesota, and found great joy and pride in tinkering around the house and yard.
He will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, selflessness, and generosity. He extended his time, knowledge, and support to everyone who crossed his path. His impact on the world will be felt forever through the lives he changed during his all too brief time on earth.
He is preceded in death by his father, John (Jack) Kragness.
Survived by his mother, Virginia Kragness; wife, Terri; daughter, Anna; siblings, Scott (Robin), Kurt (Julie), Ja'Zan (Chuck) Brecunier, John (Patti); mother-in-law, Darleen Kenyon; sister-in-law, Julie Kenyon; brother-in-law, Scott Kenyon; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life open house to occur at the Lakewood Memorial Chapel in Minneapolis from 12:30-2:30pm on Thursday, May 9.
