Bradley D. Moody, 60 of Springfield, died January 20, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by his family.
Brad was the 12th child born on July 23, 1964 to William E. Moody Sr. and Mildred L. (Miller) Moody. He was raised by his mother in London, Ohio. He attended Fairhaven School and worked at Matco Industries.
Brad loved his family, enjoyed watching WWE and enthusiastically collected Barbies. He loved to listen to music, especially Alan Jackson and Vince Gill. He loved and cheered for the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. He always wondered, "Who let the dogs out!?"
Brad is survived by siblings Carol Ginther, Diana VanDine, Buddy (Brenda) Moody, Debi (Gary Mayes) McClain, Marla (John) Stouffer, Kevin Moody, Michael (Lian) Moody, Brian (Janet) Moody, Steve (Alicia) Moody, and Rebecca (Sommer) Moody; 4 half-siblings and a step-brother; and many, many nieces, nephews, and family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother William "Bill" Moody, Jr., sister Carla Payne, brothers-in-law John VanDine, Sr. and Donnie Payne, nieces Anne Ginther and Mandi Stouffer and nephews Jayson Payne, Dusty Moody and Matthew Wall.
Special thank you to Michelle Marcum for her compassion and loving care for Brad in his final days. She was his Dollface and angel. Thank you Valisha, Vonn, Nicole, Danielle and the staff of Hospice of Dayton for the compassionate care they provided to Brad. The family is also thankful that Brad could be cared for by Bill after their mom's passing, and then Marla and John following Bill's passing.
The family will receive visitors at Lynch Family Funeral Home, London, with calling hours Sunday January 26, 2-5pm and Monday January 27, at 10am until services at 11am. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Chillicothe. Please feel free to wear Buckeye or Browns apparel to honor Brad.
