Obituary of Bradley Howard Rein
Brad Rein
Bradley Howard Rein, age 49, of Joliet, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 6, 2025. Born on February 9, 1976, in Oak Lawn, IL, Brad was the beloved son of Howard and Barbara (nee Erhardt) Rein. He grew up in Beverly neighborhood of Chicago but attended and graduated from Evergreen Park High School, setting the foundation for a lifetime of dedication and hard work.
A respected and reliable professional, Brad most recently served as Manager at Johnstone HVAC in Naperville for the past four years. Prior to that, he spent 25 years with TEC, where he built a reputation as a stellar employee and trusted colleague. His quiet nature and dependable presence made him an integral part of every team he was part of.
Brad's greatest joy in life was his son, Quinn. He was a kind and loving father and his devotion to his son was evident in all that he did. Those who knew Brad will remember his love of heavy metal music and his passion for attending live concerts. Despite his private nature, Brad's warmth, sincerity, and wicked sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who met him. He was especially close with his sister, Rachael, who was also his best friend, and their bond was a testament to the strength of family.
Brad leaves behind a loving family who will miss him deeply. He is survived by his cherished son, Quinn Rein; his mother, Barbara Schriver; father, Howard (Cindy) Rein; two sisters, Rachael (Matthew Dick) Rein and Heather Rein; three nieces, Tessa (Christian) Schwartz, Emily Dick, and Rachel (Connor Watson) Dick; and one great-nephew, Colson Watson. His presence in their lives was a source of joy, and his memory will live on through the love he shared.
Brad's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him, but the kindness, strength, and love he shared will never be forgotten.
Visitation for Bradley Howard Rein will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. As it was his request, cremation rites will be accorded.
In lieu of flowers, a page has been established, and contributions would be appreciated.
